ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE ADVISOR, FRYLITE


Due to continued growth and expansion we are now recruiting an Environmental

Compliance Advisor.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a career in environmental compliance and sustainability with a dynamic and fast expanding Company. The successful candidate will provide support to the Environment and Sustainability, Health and Safety Department based in Strabane Co Tyrone.

We are the leading and natural choice for the food service industry throughout the island of Ireland supplying 32.5 million litres of fresh cooking oil and collecting 22 million litres of used cooking oil for recycling into biodiesel. We have a head office in Strabane, Co Tyrone and Depots in Lisburn, Galway, Dublin, and Cork.

About the Role


Main Duties will involve:

§ Day-to-Day compliance of all licences and permits.

§ Completion of scheduled environmental compliance audits.

§ Maintenance of the sampling regime for both in-house and external water safety responsibilities and in line with consents.

§ Complete quarterly and annual waste data and packaging returns.

§ Ensure database of waste contractors is maintained and authorisation is maintained

§ Deal with customer queries and maintaining online compliance systems.

§ Assist the EHS Manager in the investigation and data recording for all types of incidents (eg Oil Spills), including weekly reporting requirements.

§ Support site representatives on preventative maintenance system

§ Support the EHS Manager in promoting and developing regular campaigns.

§ Ensure that relevant documentation is received from contractors coming to site and the issue of permits to work as required.



Job Requirements


The ideal candidate will possess the following:


Essential Criteria

§ Must have an environmental management qualification

§ 1 years work experience or a placement in environmental management would be

an advantage
