Bell Ingram are looking for a Graduate GIS Technician to join our expanding GIS team based in Perth, Northwich or Thirsk.
The position is for someone with a degree in GIS, Geography or related subject, and who has a wish to progress in GIS. There is opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects covering the infrastructure, rural land management and forestry sectors.
Applicants must have the ability to cope with a varied workload, be self-motivated, possess good communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience with QGIS or other GIS software, field surveys, knowledge of spatial data management and analysis, georeferencing and cartographic skills through map and plan production. Programming and web-mapping would be desirable, however further training will be provided on these.
Travel throughout Scotland and Northern England is required so a full driving licence and access to a car for business purposes is desirable, but not essential.
