Placement opportunity: Student Engagement Co-ordinator Ulster University Employability & Careers
The successful applicant will support the development and delivery of campaigns and activities that will help Employability & Careers increase and expand the reach and impact of services, initiatives, resources and opportunities for all students. From promoting a ‘campus first’ experience to promoting engagement with Handshake and the Ulster EDGE Award the successful candidate will be a key member of the team. This role will also include leading on digital communications and social media content. Full training and ongoing mentoring will be provided.
Responsibilities
Developing and delivering promotional campaigns and supporting digital content that will help increase student engagement with Employability & Careers services.
Play a lead role in supporting on campus engagement activities to promote key Employability & Careers services including Handshake, events, Ulster EDGE Award, advice service, digital tools and more.
Collating feedback and evaluating the student experience of key employability initiatives and services.
Manage 'Careers at Ulster' social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and Twitter. You will be responsible for writing/creating social media content and engaging with other colleagues and users to expand our reach and audience.
Support the content management for the Employability & Careers website and in particular support the collation and development of peer focused content, for example regular blog posts on student success stories.
Undertake ongoing post campaign evaluations to generate recommendations for improving future engagement.
Support the front line of our campus-based Careers Exchange in the new Belfast campus as and when required
Salary: £16700 (10 months)
